"Myla" is an animated short film developed as part of my thesis project, which explores the influential role of speculative fiction in shaping

our collective visions of the future. The research specifically contrasts dystopian narratives with the emerging solarpunk genre.

Set within a richly imagined solarpunk world of my own creation, the film follows the journey of two central characters,

Myla and Ada, as they go on a journey in a hopeful future where Myla is struggling with their own grief.

Currently in development, Myla represents both a creative and academic exploration of how visual storytelling can challenge dominant dystopian tropes and inspire alternative narratives for the future.
